This month, I try my hand at an abstract image as a wallpaper.

Information from Devendra Gogate, about the fruits in the image.
These are the fruits of Eleagnus conferta – Ambulki in Marathi. It is a woody climber (Liana) and its leaves are very beautiful, underside of the leaf is silvery.

As requested by Anup, I have uploaded the 1920×1200 image.

May 2010 – Desktop Calendar

Summer started with a bang, visited Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, MP.
Our group saw a total of 13 Tigers!! I am sharing one of the images I made, of a female tigress.

I again leave for Bandhavgad on 27th April and will return on 2nd May, hence uploaded the calendar in advance.

It is summer again… the camping season has started!! Yippeeee….

This summer I travel to the forest’s of Central India, the strong hold of India’s National Animal ‘The Royal Bengal Tiger’.

This April, I bring to you an image from the archive.

March 2010 – Desktop Calendar

The Bar-headed Goose is one of the world’s highest flying birds, seen upto an altitude of a little excess of 33,000 feet!! A Boeing 747 cruises at an altitude of 35,000 feet only.

These birds are known to migrate to India during the winters from China, crossing the Himalaya’s. They spend their summers at high altitude lakes.
