Are our Sadhu Baba’s similar to USA?

I was reading an article titled “Local Nuclear War, Global Suffering” by Alan Robock & Owen Brian Toon in Scientific American, a magazine related to science as the name suggests.

The article is a good 8 pages long and it discusses what will happen to the world, if India and Pakistan goto a nuclear war!! The article suggests that India has about 50 and Pakistan about 60 nuclear war heads. Other nations, like Russia has about 15,000, United States of America has about 9,900 (These I believe are the conservative & publicly available numbers).

As I read through the article, I realised how much of the American Tax Payers money (The standard term used by the American’s to describe, how every Individual contributes to the “development” of it’s nation!!) is being spent on making analysis of a situation, which might never come true. And oh yes, in-case you have forgotten, the only Nation on this planet to ever drop a Nuclear Bomb was none other than the United States of America.

The same people who first showed the world of what can happen when you throw the bomb, then spend trillions more in making those 9,900 bombs. Then spend a few trillions more on asking the world to dis-arm their nuclear war heads. “You know, it is very bad… the bombs can destroy the planet. You got to be careful” – USA’s stand for the world, but within the four walls of the Presidential Suite, “Make more Nuclear war-heads, we have to bear Russia’s tally of 15,000 nuclear war heads”.

And I fail to understand, how & why the other nations on this planet even tolerate a nation like USA!

They are like our own Sadu Baba’s who tell the gullible people, on how to attain “Moksha” and they themselves attain a different kind of “Moksha” in their private chambers.

I am attaching the article in PDF format for you all to read. I found the pdf freely available on the internet on searching for a link for the article I could share.

Stripey…

February 8th, 2010
I like the Aircel campaign abt "Save Our Tiger". A really good initiative from some corporate giant.

Whatever their aims and aspirations from that advertisement might be. As they are at the end of the day, looking to promote their services. Any corporate giant will do that.

I also see a lot of people going red over the campaign. A few quotes from people. (read on Facebook)
"The campaign also shied away from addressing other issues that contribute towards the decline in the cats such as loss of habitat, man-animal conflict and depletion of prey base."
"
It's funny how so many people are suddenly joining the "Save Our Tigers" group and initiative by Aircel but other than that, doing absolutely nothing to really "Save the Tiger""

All I want to tell these people is, take a break!!

Be glad that somebody had the sense to put in money into such a campaign. They have tied up with WWF – India.

Did the common man know that there were only 1411 tiger from 40k left, over the turn of the century? Answer is "No"!!

Just because they do their bit and look for self profit in such campaigns is not wrong.

Can WWF or any organisation working in this field be in a position to finance such a campaign?

What is wrong? Why don't you guys look at the brighter side of the entire campaign.

Folks, stop cribbing. Somebody has taken a step forward, support them.

Mushroom and cheese omelet!!

December 12th, 2009

This weekend again, I could not go out clicking pictures, decided to document the recipe of making the cheese & mushroom omelet.

Here goes…

Ingredients: (Serves 2)
4 Eggs
Cheese, how much ever you want
6 – 7 Mushrooms
Olive oil
Black Pepper
Salt

Method:
1. Get all the ingredients together.

2. Clean the mushrooms

3. Slice them

Make sure the slices are thin, so you do not break the omelet while turning it around in the pan

4. Grate some cheese

Grate it, so it melts and spreads evenly within the omelet.

5. Heat olive oil in a pan

6. Sauté the mushrooms a little in olive oil with salt and pepper. This is done to ensure they are cooked properly.

7. Break two eggs and whisk them. Add salt and pepper to taste.

8. Pour half the whisked eggs into the pan. Add a lot of grated cheese and a few sautéed mushrooms onto the half egg. Let it cook for sometime and then pour the remaining egg on top of it.

9. After a little while, turn the omelet around and make sure it is cooked inside out.

10. Share the omelet with others. There is no bigger joy than sharing food. :)

The other person in this case was my younger brother.

11. Repeat procedure, to make your own omelet and enjoy it.
