Mushroom and cheese omelet!!

December 12th, 2009

This weekend again, I could not go out clicking pictures, decided to document the recipe of making the cheese & mushroom omelet.

Here goes…

Ingredients: (Serves 2)
4 Eggs
Cheese, how much ever you want
6 – 7 Mushrooms
Olive oil
Black Pepper
Salt

Method:
1. Get all the ingredients together.

2. Clean the mushrooms

3. Slice them

Make sure the slices are thin, so you do not break the omelet while turning it around in the pan

4. Grate some cheese

Grate it, so it melts and spreads evenly within the omelet.

5. Heat olive oil in a pan

6. Sauté the mushrooms a little in olive oil with salt and pepper. This is done to ensure they are cooked properly.

7. Break two eggs and whisk them. Add salt and pepper to taste.

8. Pour half the whisked eggs into the pan. Add a lot of grated cheese and a few sautéed mushrooms onto the half egg. Let it cook for sometime and then pour the remaining egg on top of it.

9. After a little while, turn the omelet around and make sure it is cooked inside out.

10. Share the omelet with others. There is no bigger joy than sharing food. :)

The other person in this case was my younger brother.

11. Repeat procedure, to make your own omelet and enjoy it.
